Hank Wuh

Surgeon, Creator and Investor

Hank Wuh, MD, MPH is a surgeon, creator, and investor. He is a fervent believer in the power of imagination, and has led the development of over twenty healthcare products from inception to market. Dr. Wuh nurtures young entrepreneurs to transform ingenious ideas into disruptive innovations to make the world a better place. 

Dr. Wuh was recognized as one of 100 Most Intriguing Builders and Innovators by Goldman Sachs, and a Technology Pioneer by the World Economic Forum.  He is Chairman of Lymphax, Inc., developing novel biopharmaceuticals based on fundamental discoveries impacting the lymphatic system for the treatment of glaucoma, which afflicts over 80 million people worldwide. He is a director of PDT, Inc., developing an artificial pancreas for the treatment of Type I Diabetes. Dr. Wuh is a Trustee of the China Institute in America, and was a Trustee of the Fulbright Association and the University of Hawaii Foundation.  Dr. Wuh is a founder, investor, or advisor of 50+ technology companies. 

Dr. Wuh received his BA from Johns Hopkins, MPH from Harvard, MD from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, and orthopedic surgery residency at Stanford.  He is an avid swimmer, a mindfulness practitioner, a song writer, and recently completed his first techno-thriller novel.
