“We mourn the innocent lives lost in the Israel, Palestine and the Gaza Strip conflict and stand in solidarity with our Jewish brothers and sisters. The images and words flashed across the world prompt horror, sadness and anger. When children, the elderly and other innocent civilians are caught in unprovoked, violent attacks, we must unite to condemn the violence and call out the terrorism by Hamas for what it is. Our hearts go out to the innocent people who are caught in the midst of this turmoil, facing the devastating and profound impact on their families and communities. Hate has no place in our society.”
