On September 22, C-100 welcomed two new members, Lanhee Chen and Buck Gee, to the Northern California Region with a dinner party at Chef Chu’s. Lanhee Chen is the David and Diane Steffy Research Fellow at the Hoover Institution and a political adviser to U.S. presidential candidate Marco Rubio, and Buck Gee served as Vice President and General Manager of the Cisco Systems Datacenter Business Unit until 2008 and is now Board President of the Angel Island Immigration Station Foundation.
Buck and Lanhee were accompanied by their spouses, Mary and Cynthia, and made thoughtful remarks after their official welcome by C-100 member Dennis Wu. Chi-Foon Chan, Pehong Chen, Ken Fong, Ta-Lin Hsu, George Koo, Anthony Sun, and Stanley Wang also participated in the warm welcoming party. Thanks are extended to C-100 consultant Eve Cary and Vivienne Tang of WuHoover, who both assisted with the event.
