New York, NY (January 10, 2024) – Committee of 100, a non-profit organization of prominent Chinese Americans, today announced some of the exciting topics that will be the focus of this year’s 2024 Annual Conference & Gala, now less than 100 days away.
This year, in addition to the general session, there will be two concurrent tracks that align with Committee of 100’s dual mission: one focused on US-China topics and the other on domestic issues related to the full participation of Chinese Americans across U.S. society. . The event will be topped off by a celebratory black-tie Gala. Just some of the topics for the Conference will include:
- The AAPI community’s response to anti-Asian hostility;
- Asian American awareness through education;
- An Asian American Career Ceilings discussion;
- The U.S. – China technology and industrial rivalry;
- Foreign direct investment – both ways;
- A fireside chat with a former U.S. Ambassador to China.
In the coming weeks, awards, panel discussions, breakouts, and keynote speakers will be announced.
For more than three decades, Committee of 100’s Conference & Gala has drawn hundreds of distinguished academics, policymakers, businesses, and next-generation leaders from across the U.S. for a series of discussions, debates, keynotes and networking sessions under the common goal of advocating for and promoting the full participation of all Chinese Americans in American society.
