New York, NY — Committee of 100, a nonprofit organization of prominent Chinese Americans today congratulated the incoming elected leaders of the Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus (CAPAC) for the incoming 119th Congress.
Since it was founded in 1994, CAPAC has been addressing the needs of the AANHPI community in all areas of American life, serving as a non-partisan and bi-cameral organization within Congress.

Rep. Judy Chu (CA-28) will transition to Chair Emerita after 14 years as Chair. The incoming elected leadership team at CAPAC will include Rep. Grace Meng (NY-06) elected as Chair; Rep. Mark Takano (CA-39) elected as First Vice-Chair; Rep. Jill Tokuda (HI-02) elected as Second Vice-Chair; Rep. Ami Bera, M.D. (CA-06) elected as Whip; and Rep.-elect Suhas Subramanyam (VA-10) elected as Freshman Representative.
