Master Classes: Asian American Career Lessons on Overcoming Bias and Stereotypes
Congresswoman Grace Meng welcomed over 300 guests to the Committee of 100’s Annual Conference in New York City. Congresswoman Meng is the U.S. Representative to New York’s 6th District. Grace is the first Asian-American member of Congress from New York State, and one of the only female Representatives that has represented a district in Queens. Grace is a member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee and its Subcommittee on the Middle East and North Africa. In her welcome address, Congresswoman Meng highlights the Committee of 100’s role in advancing U.S.-China relations and promoting the full inclusion of Chinese Americans in American society.
