On October 19, Mr. Xu Li, Director of the Shanghai Municipal Government’s Overseas Chinese Affairs Office hosted C-100 members for lunch at the Jing An Shangri-la Hotel in Shanghai. C-100 Acting Chairman Herman Li, and members Gareth Chang, Richard Lee, Howard Li, Edmond Pi, Linda Yang Tsao, Carter Tseng, Dazong Wang and Shirley Young took part in the meeting with Xu Li, as well as other C-100 events in Shanghai that week. Director Xu commended C-100 for its efforts to advance relations between the U.S. and China, and encouraged the group to strengthen its engagement in Shanghai.
