On Saturday, January 26, 2019, Committee of 100 members gathered at the Harborview Restaurant in San Francisco to celebrate Chinese Lunar New Year. Members in attendance included Gordon H. Chang, Dan Chao, Joan Chen, Lanhee Chen, Pehong Chen, Steve Chen, Ken Fong, Buck Gee, George Koo, Larry Low, Philip Ma, Anna Mok, Dennis Wu, Frank H. Wu, and Linda Tsao Yang.
Northern California Regional Chair Ken Fong graciously hosted the dinner. Special guests included the President of the Board of Supervisors, Norman Yee; the Chinese Consul General in San Francisco, Wang Donghua, and his wife, Liu Bin; Consul Welin Peng; Deputy Consul General Ren Faqiang; and leaders of the American Jewish Committee.
