On April 16-17, Committee of 100 hosted its 2016 Annual Conference in Los Angeles. Over 500 leaders in business, entertainment, government, academia, and the media participated in the premier conference on U.S.-China relations and Chinese-American advancement.
The annual conference featured five topics: the U.S.-China Economic and Political Outlook, Economic Espionage: Spies or Stereotypes, Asians in Hollywood, Hollywood and China, and Chinese American Journeys. The Walt Disney Company was honored with the C-100 Business Excellence Award and was received by Bob Chapek, Global Chairman of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts. The Philanthropy Excellence Award was received by Ronnie Chan, Chairman of Hang Lung Properties, and Gerald Chan, Chairman of Morningside Group. Following the conference, members elected Frank H.
